Topic Overview:

The Science Camp brings together 60 early-career scientists in the field of photonics but also science writers and editors in an unconventional format – mixing contributed and invited talks, seminars and debates – to present and discuss the latest research and future directions of the field in an open atmosphere and help developing the Complex Nanophotonics community.

Scientific topics include:

  • Wave transport and mesoscopic phenomena in disordered media
  • Nano-optics in complex systems
  • Imaging in turbid media
  • Deep learning, optical neural networks
  • Quantum optics in disordered media
  • Disordered metasurfaces
  • Correlated and hyperuniform disordered media
  • Biomimetics in photonics

Keynote Speakers:

  • Jeremy Baumberg (University of Cambridge, UK)
  • Lukas Novotny (ETH Zurich, Switzerland)
  • Anne Sentenac (Institut Fresnel, Marseille, France)
